If you’re planning on buying a home, you may have already done some shopping around on your own. Perhaps you’ve checked out a few open houses or called the number on a For Sale sign to schedule a private viewing of that property.
Yes, you can do all of that on your own, if you have the time. However, statistics prove that you’ll be more successful in finding your dream home at the right price with your own personal real estate agent, who has the knowledge and expertise in doing so.
If you think of it logically, hiring an agent only makes sense. You could have a professional who will set you up in their database to receive new listings the moment they come on the market. They will acquire all pertinent information about the homes you’re interested in. They will schedule showings on your behalf of those homes and take you to see them. They will point out things that are important for you to make note of. They will do market research and advise you of the current market value range. They will prepare your offer for you, when you’ve found THE one. They will negotiate on your behalf. And they will manage all document processing until closing date. But the biggest bonus, is this is all done FREE of charge to you, the Buyer!
Or, I guess you could do it all yourself.
